系统环境

简要说明下P6安装的系统环境

• 操作系统：Windows 7  / Server 2008
• 数据库：SQLServer 2008 Standard
• P6：Primavera P6 V7.0 Professional

开始为P6安装配置数据库时系统弹出异常错误如下：

SQLServerException: The driver could not establish a secure connection to SQL Server by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption. Error: "java.lang.RuntimeException: Could not generate DH keypair".

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Run dbsetup.bat, step through process
2. View reported error

原因分析

导致以上问题的原因是安装了一个不符合系统版本的JAVA JRE

This issue is caused by a database installation on an unsupported OS platform and Java Runtime version (JRE).
 
For example, test cases indicate that the same P6v7 database installation completes successfully for MS SQL Server 2008 R2 on a Windows 7 system, but fails on a Windows 10 platform with trying multiple JRE versions.

解决方案

根据P6及操作系统要求选用正确的JDK

It is not recommended to install MS SQL Server 2008 R2 on a Windows 7 system, even though internal testing indicates that the P6 database installation does complete successfully in such a configuration.  The certified database and OS versions documented in the Tested Configurations document remain the only fully tested and supported choices.

The development cycle for P6 7.0 has ended, and no further updates or bug fixes will be made to it.  We will continue to support customers using that version as best we can; but if they encounter an issue that we determine to be a product defect or an unsupported configuration, we will recommend upgrading to a newer version as the solution. 

We strongly urge customers to consider upgrading to a newer P6 version to take advantage of new features, performance improvements, and compatibility with newer hardware and software.  Upgrades are free with a current valid Oracle Support contract.

Implement the following steps to resolve the issue.

1. Determine the certified version of Java JDK or JRE for your release of P6.
2. Download and install the certified version of Java.
3. Set the newly installed Java as the JAVA_HOME.
